National Youth Day 2025 Celebration at ILP Tangkak

15 May 2025 - The National Youth Day 2025 Celebration at ILP Tangkak was held with great enthusiasm, marked by a spirited recital of the 2025 Youth Day Pledge, led by Muhammad Alif Aiman bin Abrizam, President of the ILP Tangkak Student Representative Council 2025.

A total of 325 students participated in the celebration, which began with a health exercise session involving the full participation of ILP Tangkak staff.

Site Construction Worker Safety Induction Course (SICW) (Green Card) for Final Semester Students – Series 1 and Series 2

14 – 15 May 2025 - On 14 May 2025, 38 final semester students from the Welding Technology, Computer Technology (Networking), and Metal Fabrication Technology programmes at ILP Tangkak were exposed to construction site safety through the Site Construction Worker Safety Induction Course (SICW) (Green Card) Series 1.

The course continued on 15 May 2025 for Series 2, involving 37 final semester students from the CADD Mechanical (Manufacturing) Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Plastics Technology, and Mechatronics Technology programmes.

Special thanks to Mr. Mohd Rahman bin Selamat for imparting his knowledge to these final semester students, helping prepare them for their future careers.

Career Week Series 1/2025

5 – 9 May 2025 - The Psychology Management Unit kicked off Career Week with a resume preparation workshop and a session on etiquette and readiness prior to attending job interviews.

In addition, alumni were invited to share their experiences: Mr Muhamad Aidil Arif bin Samsuri from the Welding Technology field, Mr Saiful Sazali from the Mechanical CAD field, and Mr Abu Bakar and Ms Nuraliah Nasrin binti Muhatta from the Network Computer Technology field. All four alumni shared insights on their educational and career journeys within their respective fields, along with valuable advice for final semester students in preparing for the world of work.

Career Week concluded with the Career Launch Pad programme conducted by PERKESO Muar District, aimed at empowering students with knowledge on employment law, job application processes, and the benefits available to workers.

May all final semester students continue to achieve success in their career journeys.

Workers’ Rights Seminar with PERKESO Session 1/2025

9 May 2025 - The Career & Community Support Services (CESS) Division and the Psychology Management Division of ILP Tangkak collaborated with PERKESO Muar to organise the Workers’ Rights Seminar for Final Semester Students of Session 1/2025.

Activities included a briefing on workers' rights, career consultations, mock interviews, MYFUTUREJOBS registration, and communication skills for transitioning into the workforce.
