Manufacturing Technology

The structure of this course has been designed to equip students with the appropriate knowledge and skills to design, form forming molds to produce products according to the desired specifications. The curriculum of this course contains the basics and exposure to students in technical works in the manufacture of Plastic Injection Mold (Plastic Injection Mold) using computer software.

In this course, students will also delve into matters related to engineering drawings, mold design and mold making, machine maintenance, the use of grinders, lathes and lathes, whether conventional or CNC, in addition to emphasizing aspects of supervision and management. Students are also trained in the maintenance of machines and cutting tools, planning, evaluating, designing and producing 'jigs & fixtures'. Knowledge in production technology, ergonomics and PPC, material technology as well as manufacturing and production are also emphasised.

  • FUNCTION : This machine can grind square and cylindrical workpieces, either in 2D or 3D form. In addition, this machine also performs processes such as tapping and drilling.

  • FUNCTION : This machine can perform the process of cutting cylindrical, square and plate- shaped workpieces and turning cylindrical workpieces in various axes. In addition, this machine can also perform various processes such as grooving, drilling, threading and boring.

 

3) DRILLING

  • FUNCTION : This machine can perform the hole punching process for workpieces from small holes to large holes.

 

4) CNC EDM DEI SINKER

  • FUNCTION : This machine can perform a process to make a print hole that has a complex contour or surface and high software. Among the products used are dies and molds that have high hardness.
