14 July 2026 - Alhamdulillah, a talk entitled "Istiqamah in Practice" was successfully held, providing valuable insights to the students.
During the talk, the speaker explained the meaning of istiqamah, which is to remain steadfast and consistent in acts of obedience to Allah SWT with complete sincerity, even when faced with various challenges.
Several challenges to maintaining istiqamah in daily practice were also discussed, including temptations of desire, the demands of daily life, environmental influences, and the tendency to give up easily.
To help participants remain consistent in their acts of worship, the speaker also shared several tips for sustaining istiqamah, such as:
- Rectifying one’s intention
- Performing acts of worship consistently, even if in small amounts
- Continually praying to Allah SWT for strength
- Choosing good companions
- Attending gatherings of knowledge as a source of motivation and reminder
