14 April 2026 - The Student Representative Council of ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus organised a funeral prayer, followed by a Yasin recital and tahlil for the late Muhammad Akhmal Thaqif bin Kamal, an alumnus of the Manufacturing Technology programme, Class of 2025.

The ceremony was attended by staff and students of ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus as a final mark of respect and solidarity following the passing of the deceased.

The programme commenced with the funeral prayer, followed by the recital of Yasin, tahlil, and prayers. The entire ceremony was conducted in an orderly manner in a solemn and reflective atmosphere.

May the soul of the deceased be blessed with mercy, may all his sins be forgiven, and may he be placed amongst His faithful servants.

On 13 April 2026, a goodwill visit was made by members of ADTEC Tangkak to the residence of Puan Nor Rafizah Binti Zakaria, who was recently involved in a road accident. The meaningful visit was led by Ts. Hjh. Nor Azlina Binti Ismail, Deputy Director (Training Management) of ADTEC Tangkak, with the aim of visiting a colleague and providing moral support to her and her family during this period of recovery.

During the visit, Ts. Hjh. Nor Azlina, also representing the ADTEC Tangkak Staff Cooperative, presented a sincere contribution to Puan Rafizah as a gesture of concern and social responsibility amongst colleagues.

It is hoped that this contribution will help to alleviate her burden somewhat and serve as motivation for her recovery.  
All members of ADTEC Tangkak pray that Puan Nor Rafizah Binti Zakaria is granted a swift recovery (Syafakillah), given extraordinary strength, and that all her treatment matters are eased so that she may return to work with us soon. Indeed, the closeness and welfare of each staff member are the pillars of harmony on our campus.

10 April 2026 - The Tangkak Campus Sports, Welfare and Recreation Club held a Sanjungan Budi Lambaian Kasih ceremony for Ts Mohd Nazri bin Salim, who has been transferred to the Proton Institute Campus.

The ceremony was held as a mark of appreciation and gratitude for his services, sacrifices, and commitment throughout his tenure at ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus. All the knowledge, guidance, and contributions he has given will always be remembered by the entire campus community.

The Computer Network Technology Division is committed to strengthening the organisation’s digital defences through the organisation of the Advanced Network Defense: Firewall Engineering & Hardening course, held from 30 March to 3 April 2026.

This initiative is a strategic step in ensuring instructors remain competent and aligned with the evolution of current cybersecurity. The course focused primarily on:  
- Compliance with Best Practice: An in-depth exploration of security zones, DMZ, NAT/PAT, and the critical management of firewall policies.  
- In-Depth Technical Skills: Practical training involving firewall configuration via both GUI and CLI interfaces for holistic system hardening.

Our appreciation is recorded for Dr Sheikh Nasir bin Kamarudin for sharing his expertise and guidance throughout the session. May the knowledge gained become a catalyst for excellence in network technology education.
