Promotional Activity at the Orang Johor Tour Programme @DUN Serom - Aspiration of Young People for TVET

13 September 2025 - The Orang Johor Tour Programme @DUN Serom – Aspiration of Young People for TVET was held at Dewan Seri Mutiara, SMK Tengku Mahmood Iskandar. This programme served as a platform for the local community to strengthen relationships, share information, and foster a sense of togetherness among the people of Johor, with the aspiration of “TVET as the Primary Career Choice.”

Two officers from ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus supported the programme by sharing knowledge, skills, and insights related to the TVET fields offered at Tangkak Campus. Their presence is hoped to benefit the local community by raising awareness of the importance of technical education and skills training in line with current industry demands.

Student Assembly with the Director and Anti-Bullying Awareness Briefing

11 September 2025 - The Student Management and Training Division (BPPL) of ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus organised the monthly Student Assembly with the Director for September.

During the assembly, a briefing on Bullying as a Criminal Offence among students was delivered to foster a safe and harmonious campus environment, raise awareness about the negative impact of bullying, and cultivate students who are morally upright, respectful, and caring towards one another.

Special thanks to ASP Muhammad Azizi Bin Shamsudin from the Legal Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation Department, Tangkak District Police Headquarters (IPD Tangkak), for delivering the insightful briefing. It is hoped that this awareness will help curb bullying incidents and contribute to a positive student environment.

TH Khairat Registration Programme for Aid Recipients of TH Johor

10 September 2025 – Tabung Haji (TH) Johor, in collaboration with Takaful Berhad (STMB), has offered selected students of ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus financial assistance amounting to RM200.00, along with enrolment into a Special Protection Plan that provides financial benefits in the event of death or permanent total disability. This initiative is known as TH Khairat.

To facilitate this initiative, TH has opened the registration session for the TH Khairat Programme at the Resource Centre, ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus.

Verification Visit by External Verifier (PPL) for the 2024 Incentivised SLDN Programme

9 September 2025 – A verification session by an External Verifier (PPL) was conducted at Micron Semiconductor Sdn Bhd, Tangkak, Johor, for the 2024 Incentivised SLDN Programme under the Semiconductor Assembly Production field (EE-020-3:2013). The verification was carried out by Mr. Azam bin Awang, an External Verifier from Kuala Krai Vocational College, accompanied by instructors and internal assessors from ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus.

The visit covered portfolio review and verification, related documentation, final marks, as well as the final knowledge examination for the Semiconductor Product Marking module [EE-020-3:2013-C07].

A total of 17 apprentices from Micron Semiconductor Sdn Bhd participated in this programme, which was held from 1 September 2024 to 27 August 2025. This marks the second cohort from the company to undergo training under the SLDN programme at ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus.

Congratulations and well done to the 17 apprentices from Micron Semiconductor Sdn Bhd who were officially confirmed as competent by the panel of assessors during this session.

May the strong collaboration between ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus and Micron Semiconductor Sdn Bhd continue to thrive for the sustainability and advancement of TVET.
